The MIA represents almost 2,000 registered migration agents who provide professional migration services to families, businesses and industries throughout Australia.

We liaise with government departments on behalf of our members providing a forum for communication and a platform for submissions on aspects of migration policies and programs.

All MIA members undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD), a training program initiated by the MIA to promote a high standard of excellence in education and services in the Migration Industry.

We support our members to assist them deliver the highest level of services to their clients. At the same time we administer standards for the conduct of our members who commit to operate in accordance with our Code of Ethics in addition to the Code of Conduct that all Registered Migration Agents must adhere to. This provides an additional level of assurance to people seeking a migration agent that choosing an MIA member is a smart move.
